Prophet Maxillar Mumo is a Kenyan Prophet who shocked many a Zimbabwean when he prophesied shortly before the 31 July elections that President Mugabe would beat Tsvangirayi, yet Tsvangirayi would shortly assume the number one job in Zimbabwe. The Prophecy does not give light as to how this shall come to be, given that this will be unconstitutional. Short of miracles, it boggles the mind yet what is a prophecy and a miracle if we are able to fully comprehend it. A few days later he clearly explained his prophecy insinuating that President Mugabe would actually die.
Writing on his website, the prophet is adamant his prophet his prophecy will come true and has reiterated the need to pray for Zimbabwe as the days are drawing closer. “God is faithful, we need to pray for Zimbabwe people of God for these are the days! Remember the voice of God and the mind of God for your nation. These are the days to prepare your way! Remember when God speaks, it is not about time; it’s about His Voice!! Time does not STOP, it moves you towards the salvation of your God,” said Prophet Maxillar Mumo.
He however, revealed that this is the time that God has chosen to fulfill His promise to Zimbabweans.
“When you wait, do not think God has forgotten, there are conditions, checks, balances, and work to be done before you see the fruit of your patience in the Lord! As the children of Israel, wait in prayer for your salvation; these are the days of the Lord for your nation,” said the man of God.
In July, just before Zimbabwe’s harmonised elections, Prophet Maxillar Mumo alleged that there shall be an imminent death of a high profile politician in Zimbabwe soon after elections. His prophecy did not go down well with many Zimbabweans who took a swipe at him for “wishing other people dead”.
Many Zimbabweans blasted him saying he was a prophet of doom whilst others labelled the prophecies as publicity stunts. Despite the stinging criticism website traffic statistics show many Zimbabweans visit his website . His website is currently ranked number 82 out of a total of an estimated 5oo Zimbabwean sites which means even though he is Kenyan his internet followers are mainly from Zimbabwe.
Many who blasted him however were left with an egg on their faces after a plane crash he predicted in Nigeria came true. You can read the article on this link. He also claims that he had predicted the Budiriro witches saga when he prophesied that some fake Zimbabwean prophets would be shamed.
We could not help but notice though how ironic it is that our own popular prophet Ubert angel hardly prophecies about Zimbabwe yet he made a precise prophecy on the Kenyan Attacks likewise the Kenyan prophet hardly makes prophecies about Kenya, his all time favourite is Zimbabwe. Perhaps that is how things work in the spiritual realm and needless to say victimisation might be the main issue here, since Makandiwa also made a similar cleverly worded prophecy about Zimbabwe.
